All reservations are prepaid at the time of booking. If payment is not received, Kirk Suites reserves the right to cancel the reservation without preceding notice. Subsequent months must be prepaid so that Kirk Suites receive the money no later than the first of each month.

If the guest fails to meet a payment obligation, or otherwise significantly fails to observe our general terms and conditions, and the guest has not rectified the situation within two days after a written order, Kirk Suites may cancel the reservation with immediate effect and demand compensation from the guest in accordance with standard compensation rules in Danish law.

Reservations for 6 nights or less may be cancelled without charge no later than 12.00 noon the day before the confirmed arrival date. If a cancellation is notified later than 12.00 noon the day before the confirmed arrival date, 50% of the fee for the confirmed rental period will be charged, corresponding, however, to a minimum of one night.

Notification that a stay will be shortened must be sent to info@kirksuites.com no later than 12.00 noon the day before the new departure date. If notification of a shortened stay is received after 12.00 noon the day before the new departure date, a cancellation fee for 50% of the remaining rental period will be charged, corresponding, however, to a minimum of one night.

Reservations for 7 to 14 nights may be cancelled without charge no later than 12.00 noon 7 days before the confirmed arrival date. If a cancellation is notified after 12.00 noon 7 days before the confirmed arrival date, 50% of the fee for the confirmed rental period will be charged.

Notification that a stay will be shortened must be sent to info@kirksuites.com no later than 12.00 noon 7 days before the new departure date. In the event of notification of a shortened stay received after 12.00 noon 7 days before the new departure date, a cancellation fee for 50% of the remaining rental period will be charged.

Reservations for 15 to 30 nights may be cancelled without charge no later than 12.00 noon 14 days before the confirmed arrival date. If a cancellation is notified after 12.00 noon 14 days before the confirmed arrival date, a cancellation fee for 50% of the confirmed rental period will be charged.

Reservations for more than 30 nights may be cancelled without charge up to 30 days before the confirmed arrival date. If a cancellation is notified less than 30 days before the confirmed arrival date, a fee for 100% of the confirmed rental period may be charged, but a maximum, however, of 30 nights.

Notification of a shortened stay must be sent to info@kirksuites.com no later than 30 days before the new departure date. If notification of a shortened stay is received less than 30 days before the new departure date, a cancellation fee for 100% of the remaining rental period may be charged, but a maximum, however, of 30 nights.

Prices are based on the confirmed number of nights. If the stay is shortened, an increase must be expected in the price per night for the entire rental period.

A stay can only be cancelled or shortened in writing by e-mail.

The policy for long-term apartment rentals at Kirk Suites pertaining to deposits and cancellations is as follows:

For stays of 1 week or more, guests will be required to pay a deposit in advance of their stay.
Cancellation and cancellation policies for stays longer than 1 week will vary from the standard terms.

Reservations of 5 apartments or more are considered a group reservations and can be cancelled or reduced without liability according to the following rules:

1. Cancellation of the entire group no later than 30 days before the arrival date
2. Cancellation of no more than 50% of the original reservation can be made up to 14 days before the arrival date

If the booking is cancelled 14 days before arrival, a fee of 100% of the confirmed rental period will be charged.

Cancellation, which must always be made in writing, means cancellation, reduction, shortening of the stay, and similar significant changes in relation to the final confirmation.

The cancellation fee is 100% of the price of all services per cancelled group participant. In the event of a no-show, full payment must be made for all the ordered services. If the customer does not update the order within the time limits above, the hotel reserves the right to adjust the order, per deadline, at its own discretion.

Deposit: A deposit corresponding to 100% of the total confirmed amount must be paid to the hotel no later than 1 month before the first arrival. If a guest arrives later and/or leaves before the booked period, the entire period booked for the guest will be charged.

Cleaning of the apartment and a change of linen and towels are included in the rent and is done every fourth day for reservations of at least 7 nights. Extra towels are supplied as needed regardless of the duration of the reservation. Additional cleaning can be ordered at the reception for a fee.

There is free WiFi in the apartments.

Paid parking is available in Havneøen’s car park at the address: Kahytten 2, 7100 Vejle. Parking charges are at the guest’s own expense. Kirk Suites is not liable for any damage or theft in connection with parking.

The reception is closed at night. It is possible to check in from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm on the day of arrival. Guests must check out no later than 11.00 am on the day of departure. It is possible to check in earlier or check out later by prior agreement, on payment of a fee. However, Kirk Suites makes reservations for days when this is not possible due to new arrivals. A fee will be charged for checking out after 11.00 am if there is no prior agreement with the reception.

The apartment may not be occupied by more people than the number booked and confirmed.

Guests are responsible for furniture during their stay.

Guests are liable for all damages caused by themselves or their visitors other than normal wear and tear.

We reserve the right to charge a deposit for fixtures, etc. upon arrival.

We reserve the right to gain access to the apartment after informing the guest beforehand in connection with cleaning, repairs etc. Emergencies are excepted, however.

Smoking is prohibited indoors and outdoors, in all apartments and hotel areas. You will be charged a fee ranging between DKK 5,000 and DKK 20,000 if you smoke on the property and an additional DKK 9,500 if you activate the alarm.

We recommend that guests take out their own travel insurance, as Kirk Suites is not liable for guests’ belongings or personal injuries during the stay. Contact the reception no later than 8 days after the end of your stay if valuables have been forgotten before departure.

In the event of force majeure, such as war/water damage and epidemic diseases, Kirk Suites is entitled to cancel the reservation. In that case, prepayments received will be returned to the guest. The guest is not entitled to further compensation.

We encourage all guests to become familiar with the fire plan, emergency exits, and fire extinguishers as soon as possible after arrival.

Pets are not allowed at Kirk Suites. However, exceptions are made for service dogs.

Reservations are made for possible typing errors, currently fluctuations or the like.
